Telephone Coaching With Me

Telephone Coaching Can Increase Your IQ?

Telephone coaching is perfect for brainstorming and training and making change happen.

But why talk to a coach by telephone? Aren't you supposed to do that in person, with the couch, and the diagnosis, and cigar?

And why talk to me? Here are some reasons, brain fitness and increased IQ and stress management. Did you know that you can encourage neurogenesis or the growth of new neurons every day? Ever heard of Heartmath? Your heart has a brain of its own, and you can access it with a bit of biofeedback practice. Ever heard of FLOW? How do you access flow in your moment to moment life? I have had to make hard changes, and have discovered tools that can facilitate the change process, even make change a welcome friend.

Hopefully you are getting the sense that I work to empower awareness and choice utilizing tools that have worked for me.

Actually coaching by telephone, email, video conferencing, teleconferencing, or chat has become the most prevalent form of non-athletic coaching in the world.

And research is showing that it is effective! It works with depression, anxiety, smoking cessation, and dieting, to name a few.

After all, folks, where does change happen? Inside you. Our interaction will rewire our brains whether our interaction happens on the phone or in person. That is the beginning point of change.

With each word that you hear and learn from, your brain literally rewires itself.

That capacity of the human brain is called neuroplasticity, and until recently, we did not know the extent of change in the human brain from novel learning experiences.

A novel learning experience is any experience that challenges your brain, and a telephone session with a coach who is listening carefully to you and asking adroit questions while inspiring you certainly qualifies as a novel learning experience.

(Want to know what two neuroscientists from the University of Michigan have to say about the pillars of brain fitness, one of which is novel learning experiences? Then read Brainfit for Life by Simon Evans,Ph.D. and Paul Burghardt,Ph.D.)

And this is where your coaching with me could get interesting.

Evans and Burghardt describe a very powerful tool which results in raised IQ scores. I can guide you to and through that tool, called Mind Sparke Brain Fitness Pro, which certainly qualifies as a novel learning experience.

If you use the pre and post test suggested, you will be able to document increased IQ.

What Does a Coach Do?

A coach listens. Really listens. A coach has learned the discrete skills of listening and can demonstrate them. For breakthrough coaching, he listens with empathy and mindfulness and without judgment. Both to what you are saying and what you are not saying. When we are listened to effectively, we feel safe, and a trusting relationship happens. Both your life and the clarity of your mind come into better focus. As a coach, I have extensive experience with the change process and can guide you as you move through it, helping you to manage the thinking, feeling, and behavioral aspects of change.

As a coach who has seen wonderful changes in folks over the years, I am very confident that I can help you find tools that will enhance your change process.

Would You Share Something That You Are Grateful For?

When I was beginning my personal growth journey, a wise person told me that when I was feeling resentful or afraid or sad, that I should remember the phrase "gratitude is the attitude" when I was ready to feel better. That phrase has helped me feel better tens of thousands of times.

Would you share what you are most grateful for? Your story could be just what another person is searching for to renew themselves? Thanks.
