Student going into counseling profession
Mike, I am writing you a question about becoming a counselor. I am heading to graduate school in sport psychology and counseling and I am 28. My concern is that I sometimes feel too young to be a counselor and I worry that I may not be able to empathize with those who are older or who have experienced so much more in their lives than I have. I understand that no one, even counselors, can experience everything at a personal level but there are still many topics that I feel nieve about. Are these feelings common to new students going into this profession?

Track Your Calorie Loss on Your Smart Phone?
Will My Phone Tell Google? Or My Mom?
This Body Media tool looks very exciting to me. I really could use immediate feedback about my food choices, and even an old "how-does-this-thing-work?" cell phone noobie like myself could handle this. I can record my food use and get real time feedback about calorie burn vs calorie intake? Very efficient, and just the motivation I need.
