My wife decided to see our marriage couselor by herself on a regular basis.

My wife and I had been seeing a marriage counselor and after 3 sessions, she decided to see him for her own issues. I was fine with the concept until it seemed like he started only seeing her perspective and focusing on what I need to work on, fix, and apologize to her for. My question - Is it a conflict of interest for a psycologist to see a patient individually as well as in couple thearapy? Can the be subjective?
