I Am Able

by Darla Autry

I am grateful that I am able. I am able to walk, and talk, and hear, and see. I am grateful for food, shelter, and clothing. What more do I need? I am grateful for Christ who lives in me. Hard things are just hard. I've heard it said that "God Cares more about our character than he does our comfort. Thank you Lord for building me character. It's the hard stuff that brings me freedom.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:9).
