I cannot count how many counseling workshops and continuing education workshops and personal growth workshops I have attended over the years.
Counseling workshops have been extremely helpful to me in terms of expanding my knowledge, exposing me to the ideas of others in my field, including their written work, and the bibliographies from the workshop presenter points me in interesting directions also.
I can take a day or a weekend or a day away from my schedule too, because the pace is a little more relaxed, and those continuing education requirements are nice too.
So where do you get information about workshops, whether they are designed for the professional, or for yourself, if the workshops is more along the lines of self-help? Right here, of course.
The Mankind Project has been around since the mid 1980's, when Bill Kauth, Ron Herring, and Rich Tossi put together a men's workshop called the New Warrior Adventure Weekend.
I went through that weekend experience in 1989, and it is why I am here doing what I am doing now.

The Heartmath folks also offer webinars about their tools, which I believe are extraordinary.
Here is another very interesting online alternative. I have been a follower of their work for about 12 years.
